Beans and vegitables

Plant based food sources are rich in fiber, vitamins, and minerals, and low in cholesterol, calories, and saturated fat.

Every action we take has an impact on our planet. Even small, ethical choices about the foods we consume move us closer to a better world for future generations. Processed, ready-to-eat foods are filled with preservatives and excessive packaging and often have little nutritional value. This food model leads to obesity, diabetes, and an overall decline in health - in contrast to the natural purpose of food, which is to nourish and sustain life.

Plant-based foods are thought to help in the prevention of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity.

The reality is that plant-based eating can change the world.

QUESTIONS?

Microgreens are super-charged plants that are more nutrient dense than their mature counterparts (i.e., more nutrients in a much smaller serving size).

¼ tsp of dried microgreens is equivalent to an entire handful of leafy green vegetables. On average, microgreens are higher in vitamins (like Vitamins E, K, and C), antioxidants (like carotenoids, phylloquinone and tocopherols) and minerals than their mature counterparts.

Why dried greens? We love fresh microgreens, but they spoil easily and must be eaten right away.

Drying helps:

Maintain nutrition

Minimize food waste

Reduce the ecological impact of transport

Make fewer demands on our environment

Lower shipping costs

…and help us be a more sustainable business
